NLBOA LAUNCHES THE NORTHERN LIBERTIES “NOLIBS” LOCAL REWARDS CARD

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – August 3, 2011 – The Northern Liberties Business Owner’s Association (NLBOA) launched their much anticipated local rewards campaign this week. The NoLibs Rewards Card features discounts at nearly 20 local Northern Liberties businesses including retailers, dentists, salons, office services, restaurants and breweries. The price per discount card is $10, and they are valid from August 1 – December 31, 2011. The rewards cards are currently available for purchase at each of the following locations:

Northern Liberties Business Owner’s Association Launches Holiday Food Drive

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – October 27, 2011 – The Northern Liberties Business Owner’s Association (NLBOA) has joined forces with Philabundance in hopes of gathering food donations for Philadelphia residents and families during the holiday season.  The food drive will officially run from November 1 – December 17, 2011.  The NLBOA has a goal of 600 lbs of donated food during the 6 week drive.

Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the following locations:
The NLNA Community Center – 700 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA
North Bowl -  909 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA
Superfresh – 180 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia PA
Yards Brewing Company – 901 N. Delaware Ave, Philadelphia, PA

Philabundance states that the following food items are high-priority and in demand for the Philadelphia communities: canned/shelf-stable tuna, macaroni and cheese, canned pasta, canned beef stew, canned chili, creamy peanut butter, jelly, canned green beans, canned corn, canned fruit, breakfast cereal and hot cereal.
